Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, entrepreneurial, and innovative Store Operator to oversee the day-to-day operations and sales performance of our store. This role requires a well-rounded individual capable of managing operations independently under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring team success.
Job description

1.     Customer Service & Sales:

·       Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering product recommendations.

·       Drive sales growth through proactive engagement, upselling, and building long-term client relationships.

·       Manage and monitor product categories, ensuring accurate weekly stock counts and well- organized displays.

·       Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed monthly performance targets (KPIs).

2.     Operations & Inventory Management:

·       Oversee stock levels, inventory processes, and warehousing operations to ensure seamless operations.

·       Conduct regular stock audits in line with established procedures.

·       Maintain product displays according to merchandising standards for an enhanced shopping experience.

3.     Team Leadership & Administration:

·       Lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve operational excellence.

·       Ensure compliance with administrative and operational protocols.

·       Support the team with customer transactions and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Minimum requirements

·       Matric or equivalent qualification

·       Entrepreneurial mindset and innovative thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.

·       Responsible and accountable for achieving both operational and sales objectives.

·       2 years of management experience within the retail environment (preferably within the group).

·       Proficiency in SAP software and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

·       Deadline and results-driven, able to meet performance goals within set timelines.

·       Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Proven success in sales with a passion for driving results.

·       Ability to work independently and under pressure, maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.

·       Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
