Introduction
We are looking for two dynamic, energetic and customer-focused Warehouse Assistants/Tilers to join our team at CTM Secunda. The ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to assist customers while ensuring that warehouse and tiling duties are carried out efficiently and professionally.
Job description
- Assist the dispatch team in serving customers collecting their purchases.
- Ensure that all scheduled deliveries are checked against customer orders to confirm that the correct products and quantities are supplied.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the warehouse and dispatch areas.
- Participate in and assist with annual stock counts.
- Receive, check and pack stock in the designated areas.
- Receive and inspect customer returns and credits.
- Assist with tiling-related duties, including tile installation and preparation, where required.
- Ensure that all duties are performed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, customer service or retail environment.
- Previous tiling experience will be a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of tiles, tiling products and installation techniques will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have previous tiling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Must be a team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with CTM's product range will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
